JOHN YOUNG: SAFETY ZONE AT UNIVERSITY OF QUEENSLAND ART MUSEUM, BRISBANE

John Young's 'Safety Zone', is an exhibition of paintings and drawings, based on Young's readings on the Rape of Nanjing - the crimes of war which occurred in Nanjing, China in 1937. The exhibition was first presented at Anna Schwartz Gallery, Melbourne, and appears at the UQ Art Museum as part of the University of Queensland's Refugee Week. The exhibition closes on 7th August, 2011.
