The Royal Bank of Scotland is pleased to support the work of emerging contemporary artists in Australia with the RBS Emerging Artist Award 2009. This unique initiative was launched by ABN AMRO in 2004 to bring business and the arts closer together. ABN AMRO in Australia was rebranded to RBS in March this year.
The RBS Emerging Artist Award is recognised as one of the largest corporate exhibitions of Australian emerging art. The exhibitions have showcased innovative work reflecting the diversity and quality of contemporary art practice in Australia and present an opportunity for emerging artists to have their works presented to corporate audiences.
