Tom Nicholson recognised in the Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture, 2008

Tom Nicholson has received the Professional Development award for his Melbourne Prize for Urban Sculpture entry, Monument for the flooding of Royal Park 2008.

The Professional Development award is worth $9,000 and includes a three-month residency at the Victorian College of the Arts.

All Melbourne Prize finalists, including Tom Nicholson, John Nixon and Kerrie Poliness, will be exhibited at Federation Square, Melbourne until 24 November, 2008.
