Callum Morton has been awarded the Redlands Konica Minolta Art Prize 2013 for his work Cover Up #1.
Cigdem Aydemir was awarded the Emerging Artist Prize for her work Bombshell.
Selected by Julie Rrap and curated by Katie Dyer, the Redlands Konica Minolta Art Prize 2013 exhibition is at the National Art School Gallery in Sydney.

Callum Morton's solo exhibition IN MEMORIAM, continues at Heide Museum of Modern Art.

Part site-specific project, part survey show, this exhibition draws upon almost twenty years of Morton’s work and also presents a number of exciting new projects, including Monument #25: Vortex, a glass-fronted shop constructed by the artist on-site.

A comprehensive, full-colour catalogue has also been published. It features essays by IN MEMORIAMcurator Linda Michael, architect Corbett Lyon and curator Justin Paton. The catalogue is available from Heide Museum of Modern Art.

The exhibition closes on 16 October.

Callum Morton’s major work from the 2007 Venice Biennale will be on display at the Arts Centre forecourt, Melbourne, from the 9th – 24th October 2009.
