Work by Stieg Persson is included in Mix Tape 1980s: Appropriation, Subculture, Critical Style at the National Gallery of Victoria, 11 April - 1 September 2013.
The exhibition explores a decade of dynamic change in contemporary art and culture, from appropriation and sampling in painting and music to the DIY aesthetics of post-punk music, art and fashion; and from postmodern critiques of history, authorship and originality to postcolonial revisions of Australian history and identity.

Work by Stieg Persson is including in Negotiating This World: Contemporary Australian Art a group exhibition at National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne.
Stieg will be giving a floor talk focusing on his work on Sunday 28 October at 2pm as part of the program celebrating Federation Square's 10th Birthday.
